Meet the Staff

Brian Dooley is a Class A PGA Professional who oversees all daily departments at the club. With a hands-on leadership style, he works closely with each department to maintain high standards in golf operations, food and beverage, and course conditions, always focused on delivering a wonderful experience for the members and their guests.

Brian previously worked here as the Head Golf Professional and is excited to return as the General Manager. He, along with his wife Jessica and their two daughters, Noelle and Halle, are thrilled to be back and look forward to the years ahead at SAS.

Meet Sue, the vibrant force behind our operations as Office Manager and Membership Director at St. Andrews South Golf Club. Originally from the city of Chicago, Illinois, Sue brings with her a wealth of experience in customer service and office management, honed through her own entrepreneurial endeavors. Alongside her devoted husband Bert and their two children, Rylee and Jimmy, Sue seamlessly infuses warmth and dedication into every interaction. With Sue at the helm, members are welcomed with a genuine smile.

Meet Kip, he grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where he managed cable/satellite installation companies. He played baseball and golf in his spare time and always dreamed of finding a way to work in the sports industry. Kip and his wife Cheryl decided to move to Florida in 2002 after visiting Cheryl's parents in Punta Gorda.

After a couple years Kip decided to go back to school and get his degree in computer network management. He started his own company as a low voltage technician and made a nice living. Kip started playing a lot more golf and found that he had a true passion for the game. When Kip's son was old enough to start playing golf Kip volunteered to help out with the kid's clinics down in Rotunda. It was there that Kip found he had a real knack and passion for teaching the game.

In 2018 Kip decided to pursue his dream and enrolled in Florida Gulf Coast University in the PGA/PGM program. He worked at Rotunda West for a year as an Assistant Professional, then he worked as an Assistant/Head Professional at Deep Creek Golf Club.

As the Head Golf Professional at St. Andrews South, Kip brings a well of knowledge and experience, as well as a passion for playing and teaching the game of golf.

Meet Crystal, originally from Waco, Texas, made the sunny move to Florida back in 2005. Growing up surrounded by the golf scene, she's practically got golf in her DNA—thanks in part to her dad, who's still a Golf Course Superintendent. Joining our team in 2017, Crystal became an invaluable part of St. Andrews South, bringing with her a wealth of customer service savvy from her time in various golf facilities.

When she's not at the club, you can find her soaking up the Florida rays, either on a boat or lounging poolside. She has two kids, Zach and Bradley, who she loves to spend quality time with when they are back in town with her.
