Announcement!!!!!
An AED (automated external
defibrillator) has been mounted next to the wait station in the dining room.
On April 16th, 17 SAS employees were trained and certified in the
use of this device as well as the proper way to perform CPR. If members
wish, we can arrange for more training and certification. The cost for this
is $12.00 per person. The class is approximately 5 hours. Contact Charlie
Priester if you are interested.
2.It’s
new, “The Member’s Walk”.
A brick walkway dedicated to our members. Replacing the gravel path
from the pro shop to the Claret Room.
3.
Your Board of
Directors is pleased to announce the reciprocal agreement with
Isles Yacht Club has been extended as it is for
an indefinite period of time. The current agreement was scheduled to expire
March 31, 2008. It was the feeling of the Board that this agreement was a
win-win for both St Andrews and Isles Yacht Club and should be continued.

Save the
Homeless School Children of Charlotte County
The Leadership Charlotte Class of 2008 presents "An
Evening in Oz" -- a heartwarming benefit to help save the homeless high
school children of Charlotte County. This magical evening is scheduled for
May 3rd from 6-10 pm under the stars at the beautiful Vivante Bella Lago
Center, at the end of West Marion Avenue in Punta Gorda. Included for your
enjoyment will be free valet parking, a delicious buffet dinner, cash bar,
margarita fountains and many prized offerings in silent and live auctions.
Musical entertainment will be provided by both the popular Jim Morris and
The Boogiemen. Dress is “Florida Casual”, of course.
Tax-deductible tickets can be purchased in advance for
$50 per person at any branch of SunTrust or Charlotte State banks, or online
from the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce at
www.charlottecountychamber.com (click on
“Leadership Charlotte”). Tickets at the door will be $65 each. Make checks
payable to: Charlotte Chamber Community Foundation. For additional
