The Club
St. Andrews South Golf Club, wholly owned by its
members, is a private club with limited memberships
of fewer then three hundred; the lowest in the
southwest Florida area.
The unprecedented growth of southwest Florida has
and will continue to produce overcrowding of the
area's golf courses creating unpleasant conditions
and unwanted delays.
The limited number of members at St Andrews is
unique as it affords our members and guests ready
availability to the golf course at almost any time
of the day
Links Type Course
Our 18-hole,
6103 yard, par 71, course was designed by Ron Garl,
a leading Florida golf course architect, and was
opened in 1981. Since that time numerous changes and
improvements have been added to enhance the playing
experience. Our course presents a challenge to all
golfers regardless of the person's skill level. Our
15 lakes and 48 sand bunkers tend to produce a truly
sporting round of golf. The tees, four (4) on each
hole, equalize the challenge for every golfer.

Location -
Driving time to the club from
anywhere in Punta Gorda Isles is no more than five
to ten minutes. For those closer in proximity, it is
only a few minutes walk or bicycle ride.

membership - thoughtful, considerate, and very

Food and Beverage

A complete luncheon menu offers a variety of
delicious food to satisfy the most discriminating
taste. Complete dinners are served on days of
organized events. A complete bar is available and
open daily for all members.
Events

Parties, special gala events (for example: luaus, a
western party, St. Patrick's Day celebration and
many other holiday functions) make for a complete
and enjoyable social calendar.
Golf Activities

Weekly Men's Day and Ladies Day events are scheduled
for both 9 and 18 hole players. Couples events,
scrambles, member/guest events, men's and women's
tournaments and a variety of other group activities
offer something for every golfer.
Golf Facilities

A Class A PGA Golf Professional presents a
completely stocked pro shop with the availability of
private and group lessons as desired. The club also
features a full range of practice facilities;
including driving range, short-iron practice area,
chipping/bunker green and putting green. Club owned
golf carts are available as well as pull-carts for
the exercise conscious. Our course is
"walker-friendly" and many members chose to walk the
course.
